Scouting for Food 2025
This year, we enjoyed another successful year of Scouting for Food! Scouts distributed bags on November 1st, 2025, and picked them up on November 8th. All food collected goes directly to the Food Bank of Central Louisiana. Thank you to those in the community who participated!

Louisiana Purchase Council 100th-Year Anniversary
On Saturday, October 26th, the Louisiana Purchase Council held a 100th Anniversary Celebration at Camp Attakapas. Troop 8 Popcorn Sales Fundraiser 2024
Our annual popcorn fundraiser for the troop has come to a close. This year we managed to sell a lot of popcorn thanks to our friends at Lowe’s in Pineville. Many Scouts contributed their time in 3-hour shifts to accomplish this.
