Scouting for Food 2025
This year, we enjoyed another successful year of Scouting for Food! Scouts distributed bags on November 1st, 2025, and picked them up on November 8th. All food collected goes directly to the Food Bank of Central Louisiana. Thank you to those in the community who participated!

Matthew Kimball’s Eagle Scout Project
On Friday, February 14, Troop 8 helped to complete its latest Eagle Scout Project. Nathan Capezza’s Eagle Scout Project
On the morning of August 26, 2023, Troop 8 met at the T.R.E.E. House Children’s Museum in Downtown Alexandria to finish Troop 8 scout Nathan Capezza’s Eagle Scout project. Hayden Difulco’s Eagle Scout Project
On August 19, 2023, Hayden Difulco completed his Eagle Scout project with Troop 8. Many scouts from the troop showed up and helped to build benches to be donated to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.

Flags for Memorial Day 2021
On May 29, 2021, scouts from Troop 8 placed flags at graves at the Alexandria National Cemetery in Pineville. Our troop consistently attends this ceremony on Memorial Day every year.
