Winter Camp 2024

From November 22nd to November 26th, Troop 8 attended Winter Camp 2024 at Camp Attakapas. The week was full of fun and fellowship and scouts earned many merit badges!

Flag Raising

Scouts Austin, Nathan, and Daniel raise the flag while Garret calls the commands.

A core part of scouting is our duty to our country, and Troop 8 is proud to be training youth on the proper conduct for raising and lowering our nation’s flag.

Flag Retirement Ceremony

Every year, Camp Attakapas hosts a flag retirement ceremony. Troop 8 attends every one to pay our respects to the sacrifice of others for our freedom.

Cooking

It wouldn’t be a campout without cooking!

A Successful Campout!

Winter Camp 2024 provided a week filled with fun, friendship, and growth. We saw smiling faces every day!
